JCAC-Show Information

What is dog agility? Dogs and handlers must execute intricate obstacle courses which include jumps, tunnels, and all sorts of contact obstacles (including a teeter-totter!). AKC agility trials have three levels of competition: novice (beginners), open (intermediate), and excellent (advanced). Dog agility is intense and exciting at the Turquoise Cluster show, where dogs and handlers perform on the most beautiful lawn in AZ, just a few feet away from of hundreds of spectators.

We’re lucky in Arizona to have some of the best agility competitors in the country. Expect to see some of the top agility competitors at the Arizona Dog Show trials. If you’ve watched some of the national dog agility competitions on TV, you’ll recognize some of the dogs and handlers.
